hello hello! I'm back with an all new blog series.... DISNEY! Shout out to my girl Lyzelle for inspiring me! First up, here is an exclusive guide to going to Disney with a one day - one park ticket and how to make the most of your money and if you're not familiar with the park, keep reading. TIP ONE: DOWNLOAD THE DISNEYLAND APPThis will literally save your life, especially when you first come to the park. The app shows a map of all the attractions, events, dining, and more. It's super helpful so you dont have to carry around a physical one. The best part, it shows the wait times for every ride! You can download your ticket to scan in instead of printing a page or fishing through your email! TIP TWO: GET MAX PASSOkay, let's be honest here... I didn't know what a max pass was at all until my friends had to explain it to me and it was too late. A max pass is basically a feature than you can purchase that lets you get fast passes from your phone! Way more convenient than walking across the park for a fast pass then going back. TIP THREE: IF YOU'RE ON A BUDGET, BRING FOODI don't know about you, but I'm over here balling on a budget. That being said, if you're going to Disney on a budget, bring some food at least if you still want to get a churro or a meal there. Bring snacks and water to keep energized and hydrated. Preferably a reusable water bottle! You can always get Starbucks ice water, but in my opinion... it kinda tastes nasty! That's just me though. Disneyland food and drinks can get a little pricey so if you can't spend loads on food, bringing food is your best option! The restaurant in front of Adventure Land has seating and utensils out for grabs! TIP FOUR: BRING EXTRA CLOTHES FOR WATER RIDESThis is a big one, folks! Splash Mountain can either mean you're in the front soaked or in the back sittin' pretty. Don't test it, just bring the extra clothes! You'll feel so much better in dry clothes. Pro tip: there's a bathroom underneath Hungry Bear Restaurant, right next to Splash Mountain, change in there! TIP FIVE: WEAR COMFY SHOESThis is a no brainer, but I felt like I had to include it. DUH! I some how always end up wearing my flattest sandals and by the end of the day, I can't walk. Don't be me. Or, at least bring extra shoes. TIP SIX: GO ALL DAY IF YOU CANIf you can go all day and you paid for that ticket, get your money's worth and stay all day. Go early before lots of people get there and then stay for the parade and fireworks! Pro tip by Ally (@hopefultransmission): Fantasy land is the best place to watch the Fireworks at night! Get on Dumbo and watch the sky light up! TIP SEVEN: BRING PORTABLE CHARGERSIf you're like my friends and I, we take so many pictures and post so much that our battery is depleted half way through. Bring portable chargers to give your phone some life and you can call your uber home/ navigate home. PRO TIP: The one charging port I found was in the Ice Cream Parlor (Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor) on Main Street USA in the front right corner. You're welcome. You can also go to the Grand Californian Hotel to charge up. TIP EIGHT: GO IN PAIRSIf you can, try to go in pairs instead of having odd numbers. Some rides are two person seated (Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Haunted Mansion, Dumbo, and if you're the third odd person out, it can be a little boring/disappointing. But, there are perks to being single riders. Some rides offer single rider lines where you basically jump to the front of the line and fit in where ever it offers! Of course, if there are 3 people in your group, a good amount of rides allow for 3 seats! That's all I have for you so far! Stay up with this series and let me know what you think, and if you are down to go to DISNEY, Let me know!!!! Thanks for reading! As always, love you all so much. XOXO,
